Casa Batlló mapping “Hidden Order”

Gaudí’s creation continues to keep pace. On this occasion, during the weekend, a mapping created by Matt Clark, founder of the United Visual Artists (UVA) studio, will be shown on the façade of Casa Batlló. The piece is structured as a visual performance that moves through different states: creation, appearance, chaos and transformation. Through these cycles, the show explores the relationship between structure and disorder, inviting the viewer to look beyond the obvious.

The title connects directly with the motto of Año Gaudí 2026, “Gaudí, the invisible order”, and alludes to the idea that beneath the world’s apparent complexity there is an inner logic made up of patterns, geometry and natural laws. A concept very present in the architect’s work, as he knew how to translate the observation of nature into meaningful architectural forms.

“Hidden Order” will be projected on 31 January and 1 February, from 19:45, with screenings every thirty minutes. Each projection lasts 12 minutes and offers a new way to rediscover one of Barcelona’s most recognisable icons through the language of contemporary digital art.

Admission to the show is free for two nights. The show begins every 30 minutes.
