Reading of the 8M Institutional Manifesto

The public reading of the text not only symbolises institutional support for the demands of the feminist movement, but also makes visible the structural inequalities and discrimination that continue to affect women in every sphere simply because they are women. The manifesto will emphasise the need to transform policies and mindsets in order to move towards real and effective equality.

The event will be accompanied by the unfurling of a banner on the City Council balcony bearing the image of this year's campaign, under the slogan «Let us break stereotypes». This gesture seeks to take the message beyond the square and strengthen the public commitment to a fairer, more inclusive society.
