«Fiesta Caribe» Caribbean music day

This summer, Wednesdays in Barcelona will taste of rum, sea and drums. On 30 July, Poble Espanyol kicks off Nits en Viu with Fiesta Caribe, a celebration in which salsa, bachata and great tropical hits will take centre stage over five consecutive nights of rhythm and heat.

Every Wednesday, the venue will be transformed into a Caribbean corner with a vibrant atmosphere that combines dance classes open to all levels, live music sessions and a final party with a DJ. The band Barrio Adentro will provide the live sound, while DJ Robin will close each day with a selection of hits to keep everyone moving. Classes will be led by leading professional dancers such as Jorge El Bomba and Ernesto García, who will guide attendees step by step to fill the dance floor with energy.

In addition to dancing, the experience is completed by tropical cocktails and Caribbean cuisine, ideal for accompanying the music and cooling off between songs. A perfect proposal for those looking for a different outdoor evening without leaving the city. Nits en Viu begins with this explosion of Latin rhythm, but promises to continue surprising throughout the summer.
