Festa Major de la Sagrada Família

This year, the event takes on a special dimension as it coincides with the Gaudí Year, incorporating activities that highlight the architect’s legacy and his connection with the surroundings. The neighbourhood thus becomes a setting where memory and the present coexist.

The programme spans different formats: from family and sporting activities to open-air markets, workshops, talks and community meals. Music runs through the festivities with concerts and spaces dedicated to classical music, while dance brings movement to squares and streets.

Popular culture retains its central role. The correfoc lights up the night, the giants set the pace of the parades, sardanas occupy public space and casteller days raise human towers that encapsulate the collective spirit of the celebration.
