Sant Jordi Day at Ateneo Barcelonés

It will be the perfect opportunity to explore the corners of the historic Palau Savassona: its century-old library, the Pompeu Fabra room, the discussion spaces and, above all, its charming romantic garden, which will be filled with poetry and literature.

Between 12:00 and 13:30, the garden will be the setting for the Reading Aloud of poems of love and heartbreak, a tribute to the poets Josep Maria Llompart and Maria Beneyto, and a journey through verses from every era. The activity is participatory and requires prior registration.

In the afternoon, at 17:00, the Oriol Bohigas auditorium will host the show Sum Vermis, a proposal combining theatre, words and emotion. Admission is free.
