Sitges Carnival 2026
From 7 to 18 February, Sitges becomes the epicentre of extravagance and abandon with one of the world’s most iconic carnivals. For almost two weeks, the city fills with spectacular parades, dreamlike processions and unforgettable parties, reaffirming its place among the planet’s 10 best carnivals.
About this event
Shrove Thursday, the official start of Carnival, marks the arrival of His Majesty King Carnestoltes, who will take control of the city until his symbolic burial on Ash Wednesday, 12 February.
But first, Sitges will experience its peak with the legendary disbauxa parades:
15 February 2026: at 12:00 the children’s parade and at 19:30 the adults’ parade,
17 February 2026: at 12:00 the children’s parade and at 21:00 the adults’ parade.
