Three Kings Parade

The Three Kings festival, on 6 January, commemorates the arrival of the wise astrologers in Bethlehem to worship the baby Jesus and offer him gold, frankincense and myrrh. This celebration stands out for its tradition of gift-giving. At its origins, in the 7th century, the Three Kings were three, representing Europe, Asia and Africa, the three known continents, and symbolising wisdom, maturity and youth.

The 2025 parade begins on 5 January at 18:00 on Marquès de l’Argentera Avenue and runs through several streets and squares to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc (at 21:15). The Three Kings’ floats are decorated with bright lights and colours, and are accompanied by a parade of Christmas characters, musical bands and dance groups. It is always an opportunity for children to have fun and enjoy the magic of Christmas. The parade is also an opportunity for families to come together and celebrate together.
