30th anniversary of Diables de les Corts

The celebrations begin on Saturday 18 May in Plaza de la Concòrdia, offering a full day of cultural and recreational activities. From 12:00, visitors can enjoy a paella competition accompanied by live music from Guillem Will and the Pim Pam Band. At 14:00, the winning group in the paella competition will be announced, followed by a communal paella tasting for all local residents. The activities continue at 15:00 with musical bingo and, at 17:30, a festive bar crawl with the street band La Banda Patilla. Come to Plaza del Carme at 21:00 to join the concert by covers group Mashuparty Band and PD Pirotecniks.

On Saturday 25 May in Plaza de la Concòrdia, the main anniversary activities begin at 12:00 with a drumming procession by long-standing members of the organisation, followed by a musical vermouth gathering that runs until 14:00. The satirical verse competition begins at 18:30, and at 20:15 a percussion parade makes its way from Plaza de la Concòrdia to Plaza de Comas.

There, at 21:00, an exciting correfoc fire run will take place with the participation of prominent groups such as Ball de Diables de Ribes Colla Jove, Ball de Diables de Torredembarra and Diables de les Corts. The night continues with a round of fire displays in Plaza de la Concòrdia at 22:00, followed by the final lighting of all the groups' fireworks at 22:30 and a drumming procession that guides attendees towards the concert area in calle de Gandesa (between Europa and av. Diagonal). Here, at 23:00, the festival closes with an evening celebration and a live performance by Miquel de Roig and PD Kiwisound, bringing a vibrant tribute to the rich tradition and active community of Diables de les Corts to its conclusion.
