Christmas Festival in Barcelona

The Barcelona Christmas Festival turns Plaça de Catalunya into a great open book, where a different chapter is written every day. These are proposals with a double reading: immediate entertainment and reflection in the background.

When the sky turns dark blue, the “Music Sunsets” arrive (from 19:00 to 20:00). The square becomes a sound showcase where a jazz riff, a Latin rhythm, an electronic beat or a rap verse can coexist. Christmas here is not understood as a genre, but as a bubbling mixture.

And each day closes with the “Spectacular Nights” (20:00), a choral ritual that brings together theatre and music to remind us that the human voice remains one of the most powerful instruments we have for creating community.
