Pre-Sant Jordi at the Mercado Dominical de Sant Antoni
The Mercado Dominical de Sant Antoni brings Sant Jordi forward with a special edition that restores the pleasure of browsing without hurry. On Sunday 19 April, from 8.30 to 14.00, the stalls fill with books and comics that have passed through other hands and are waiting to find new ones.
About this event
Pre-Sant Jordi does not compete with the big day on the 23rd, but offers another way of approaching it. Here there are no newly printed releases, but old editions, out-of-print copies and little finds that appear among piles of paper.
A walk through the market becomes a quiet exploration, where every stop offers a different story. In addition, each stall includes a special bookmark, a detail that accompanies the purchase and reinforces the singular character of the day.
