Sants Flea Market

On 8 March, Cotxeres de Sants makes space for the wonderful Sants Flea market fair. On this day there will be 50 stalls full of vintage and second-hand accessories. Do not think that “second-hand” means it will be full of cheap, ordinary objects. What is rubbish to some is treasure to others. This motto has brought Sants Flea to life since 2007. Sellers attending this market have the chance to make a profit from objects they no longer want, but which may mean a great deal to others.

That day, the venue will have live DJ music, as well as sandwiches and drinks throughout, especially on the terrace. Mercado Sant Flea promotes recycling and sustainability.

Selling products you no longer want extends their useful life, giving someone else the chance to enjoy them for a few more years. This decision also reduces waste in the streets. Instead of throwing them away, you sell them at a modest price, and there will always be someone to whom what you want to throw away seems like the greatest treasure.
