‘Festivalet’, the annual crafts and design fair

More than 80 designers, craftspeople and independent brands will fill the former factory with offerings ranging from fashion and jewellery to ceramics, illustration, natural cosmetics and artisanal food. Here everything is made unhurriedly, with intention, and each piece has a workshop, hands and a story behind it.

Among this year's standout names is Iaios, a symbol of tradition and timeless design with its recycled-yarn jumpers. Also Pitagora, with its unisex collection designed to last; Asis Percales, whose humorous illustrations burst with colour; Gala Pont, who combines nature and female power; and Tsenoh!, which brings activist fashion made from natural fibres.

Proyecto OLVIDO stands out for transforming embroidered tablecloths and sheets into garments that bring together memory and sustainability. In contemporary crafts, Mònica Guilera's basketry and the creative experiences of Talleres Nómadas shine. In publishing and retail, OMG BCN, Editorial GG and Rittagraf contribute design, books and manual printing techniques for curious minds. And for those seeking flavour, the classic Panettoni Pavolucci and the innovative offerings of Dates & Avocados complete the feast.

Festivalet transcends the idea of a market and becomes a deeply Christmassy space, a place to discover, be inspired and connect with those who shape — by hand and with intention — what we buy.
