Feria de Sant Ponç in the Raval
A traditional fair transforms Hospital Street into a showcase of colours and aromas. Fifty stalls offer a variety of local products such as honey, candied fruit, jams and medicinal herbs. Educational activities on beekeeping are also organised, including workshops for children on honey extraction.
About this event
The Feria de Sant Ponç, held in the vibrant Raval neighbourhood, brings with it a display of traditions and flavours. This event will fill Hospital Street with fifty stalls displaying a charming selection of local products such as honey, candied fruit, jams and medicinal herbs, turning the street into a festival of aromas and colours.
In addition, the fair offers a unique opportunity to delve into the world of beekeeping, thanks to the Asociación de Apicultores de Barcelona. In Sant Agustí Square, there will be a special stall where visitors can discover the various varieties of local honey and learn about beekeeping tools and techniques. For younger visitors, honeycomb extraction workshops will be offered, providing an educational and entertaining experience at 12:00 and 17:00.
The Feria de Sant Ponç not only celebrates products of the land, but also educates and entertains its community, reaffirming its rich cultural heritage.
