Exhibition «Una ciudad desconocida bajo la niebla. Nuevas imágenes de la Barcelona de los barrios»

Framed within a tradition of critical documentation, the exhibition combines the topographical and the social, presenting both emblematic neighbourhoods and lesser-known ones. Through thirteen visual projects, including both photography and audiovisual works, it explores life on the urban margins. These works, made by artists from different generations and backgrounds, seek not only to show the city, but also to provoke reflection on the kind of society formed in these settings.

The project goes beyond a simple exhibition; it is an in-depth study of how the built environment influences its inhabitants and vice versa. With an approach that prioritises gender equality and diversity of perspectives, «Una ciudad desconocida bajo la niebla» invites visitors to rediscover Barcelona through a collection of images revealing its deepest and least-known layers.
