Through a cross-cutting journey that combines photography, painting, sculpture, set design, music and projections, the exhibition unfolds a mosaic of expressions and contradictions that marked the years between 1918 and 1933. From the critical force of Otto Dix and Käthe Kollwitz to the gaze of Jeanne Mammen or the sharp words of Thomas Mann, this period witnessed the emergence of new ways of understanding the world.
