The exhibition Técnicas del hierro. Del trabajo artesanal a la producción industrial invites visitors to look at iron from an unusual perspective: not as a cold or industrial material, but as a silent witness to human evolution. Before becoming beams, tools or design pieces, iron passed through workshops, furnaces and hands that learned to transform it blow by blow.
About this event
The exhibition traces that journey through objects, tools, photographs and historical pieces that reveal how the same material has taken radically different forms and uses over time. The delicacy of artisanal forging coexists here with the precision of industrial processes, showing how techniques such as bending, riveting, casting or welding have defined the way we build and inhabit the world.
