Immersive installation «'Music: Response’ - The Chemical Brothers and Smith & Lyall»

«Music: Response» will premiere at The Cube, the basement of Casa Batlló, one of the most innovative audiovisual installations of recent years. This new immersive space will be open to the public for almost two months.

The opening will be led by the British duo The Chemical Brothers, specialists in electronic music and winners of several Grammy awards. Although the group has been in the music industry for more than 30 years, they still bear the mark of innovators within the genre. Smith and Lyall join them as creators of kaleidoscopic images that will be projected in 360º to enhance the immersive experience.

«Music:Response» will go hand in hand with the Sónar festival, recognised throughout the country for its reach. These presentations will be seen as the prologue to the festival, which will take place from 15 to 17 June.

Music and digital art come together at The Cube to offer the public interested in these fields a unique experience. Although it will host The Chemical Brothers for these two months, the intention is to leave The Cube as a permanent space for alternative music and digital art.
