“Matter Matters. Designing with the World” exhibition

This exhibition reflects on the major challenges of present and future design, focusing on the materiality of the pieces and the need to move towards a more regenerative model.

The “Matter Matters. Dissenyar amb el món” exhibition presents 709 pieces that examine the Design Museum collection and contemporary works. Through these pieces, the boundaries between design, ecology and geopolitics are explored. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the scarcity of raw materials and the urgent need to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 to 19:00. The “Matter Matters. Dissenyar amb el món” exhibition begins on 21 February 2025 and will be open until 31 May 2029. Admission prices are €6.20, accessible to everyone.
