Exhibition “L'entrada a un bosc”
The exhibition L'entrada a un bosc offers a reflection on memory, absence and alternative ways of remembering. Curated by Marc Navarro, this show forms part of the series Digues, cosa. Joan Brossa i els poemes objecte and takes as its starting point two object poems created by Joan Brossa which, far from the solemnity of traditional monuments, propose a more intimate and critical way of relating to the past.
About this event
Starting from these pieces, the exhibition brings together sculptural, photographic, audiovisual and sound works that explore what remains when grand narratives begin to crack. Instead of glorifying victories or heroes, the works focus on the traces, silences and stories that often remain outside official memory.
The exhibition addresses issues such as anti-war sentiment, historical memory and the fragility of bodies through images and materials linked to nature. Flowers, forests, organic elements and anatomical forms appear as symbols of vulnerability, but also of resistance. Life manifests itself here as a persistent force that survives violence, oblivion and the passage of time.
With works by Joan Brossa and artists such as León Ferrari, Esther Ferrer, Liz Magor, Julia Spínola and Tomaso Binga, among others, L'entrada a un bosc invites visitors to pause, observe and rethink how we construct our collective memories. An exhibition that finds a powerful form of resistance in discreet gestures and fragile presences.
