The project presents a fascinating journey of «Ghost Rider» from the seventies to the present, with the aim of introducing the archetype of the millennial man through the skateboarder: a contemporary representation of the rider who faces challenges and precarious conditions.
Ghost Rider, devised by Joan Pallé and Cayetano Truyols, uniquely fuses the essence of the initial protagonist of Marvel comics from the 1970s with the literary richness of Goethe’s Faust and the powerful proto-punk epic of the band Suicide in 1977. Through a bootleg, this initiative delves into the archetype of the millennial man: young, trapped in a precarious reality, through the compelling representation of the skateboarder. It also addresses themes linked to hauntology and demonology, adding layers of meaning and cultural exploration.
Through video capsules, it immerses itself in the genres of skate video and video essay, offering a detailed, immersive narrative that unravels the complex story of the curse that falls upon the protagonist: eternal youth.
