Serizawa Keisuke was one of Japan’s most prominent textile designers of the last century.
About this event
His works are so impressive that in 1956 Serizawa was declared a Living National Treasure for his contribution to the country's art and culture.
The most important works by the artist outside Japan are preserved in Catalonia's historical collections. At the exhibition, you will find a selection of previously unseen pieces by Keisuke and his disciples. This exhibition is taking place in Barcelona for the first time. It is held at the Ethnological Museum from 16 June until 7 January 2024.
