The exhibition invites visitors to question contemporary concepts such as post-truth and the dynamics of power hidden behind the construction of dominant narratives. Through works in different formats—painting, photography, video and installation—the visitor moves through a space where certainties dissolve and each image proposes a new way of interpreting reality.
The proposal unfolds in four stages. First, a space of illusion that seduces and disorients; then, an attempt at revelation that exposes its mechanisms; later, a territory of doubt where the artists themselves question these strategies; and, finally, a recapitulation that connects these practices with the history of art.
With a dynamic scenography of mirrors, veils and moving structures, the exhibition is not merely observed, but experienced. In a context marked by technologies capable of manufacturing parallel realities, «El asalto de la ilusión» poses an uncomfortable question: if art has known how to construct deceptions, should it not now help us detect them?
