«Creando personajes de cine» exhibition

Carlos and Jordi Grangel began by drawing in Badalona. Four decades later, their creatures have come to life in films such as Spirit, Corpse Bride, Kung Fu Panda and Pinocchio. Now, their studio, one of the most influential in the world of animation, is the subject of the largest retrospective exhibition ever organised in Spain.

CASA SEAT hosts this exhibition until 4 September, with more than 300 original pieces that reveal how characters are sculpted before reaching the screen. Among the treasures are unpublished sketches, sculptures and the story behind CAT, the mascot created for Barça.

In addition to the exhibition, the venue offers guided tours with the Grangels themselves, design workshops for families and free screenings of their most iconic films. A unique opportunity to see how the worlds we all recognise are built... and that few know how they are born.
