Romero, born in Bogotá in 1992 and trained in Buenos Aires, Jerusalem and Madrid, unfolds a powerful visual narrative in ‘Bravo’: 52 images that immerse us in the waiting, transit and hope of migrants from Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. The landscape becomes a silent witness to a daily struggle, where architecture, faces and objects speak of identities in the making and constant challenges.

The textures of the desert, colours faded by the sun, gazes lost on the horizon: everything in ‘Bravo’ speaks to us from a place of profound humanity. Far from the media gaze, Romero creates an emotional cartography that transforms the concept of border into a space of memory, resistance and dignity.
