Exhibition «Bowie x Sukita»

For more than forty years, Masayoshi Sukita pointed his camera at one of the 20th century's most elusive and transformative artists. The result is not merely a series of portraits, but a visual conversation between photographer and muse. Bowie x Sukita presents more than 70 images that capture the essence of David Bowie without the need for words or forced poses.

The exhibition traces different stages of the artist, from the Martian ambiguity of Ziggy Stardust to the understated elegance of his final years. Along the way, there are previously unseen shots taken in Japan, intimate studio sessions and vibrant concert captures. All of this bears Sukita's unique stamp; his gaze never sought to construct an idol, but rather to understand the human being behind the disguise.

This exhibition also marks a new chapter for FotoNostrum, which opens its new venue at Carrer Princesa 19 with this powerful and deeply moving undertaking.
