Guided tour “BCN: the Civil War”

This tour reveals the everyday reality of a city in the rear guard during the Spanish Civil War, presenting a panorama beyond traditional military and partisan perspectives.

Through testimonies and rigorous documentation, as well as visits to sites that have remained almost untouched, participants discover the experiences of those times marked by shootings, looting, bombings and shortages.

The route, available in Catalan or Spanish on alternate Saturdays, lasts approximately 2 hours, offering a unique opportunity to get closer to Barcelona’s living history and understand the complexities of its past during the Spanish Civil War.
