Art Nou Festival

For several weeks, the city is transformed into an extensive journey through contemporary creation, with more than fifty exhibitions and the participation of more than one hundred and ten artists. The programme extends through galleries and art centres which, as well as exhibiting works, become places for meeting, exchanging ideas and discovery.

Alongside the exhibitions, Art Nou offers a calendar of activities including guided visits, openings, conversations with artists, performances, screenings and special actions. Each initiative invites visitors to get closer to creative processes and to meet first-hand those who are defining the new generations of contemporary art.

More than a festival, Art Nou functions as a platform for promoting emerging talent and strengthening the connection between creators, sector professionals and the public. An opportunity to discover new perspectives and see how contemporary art continues to find spaces in which to grow, engage in dialogue and surprise.
