«Antoni Tàpies. La práctica del arte» exhibition

Fundació Antoni Tàpies is preparing to host the third stage of the monumental retrospective «La Práctica del Arte», an unprecedented celebration of the centenary of the birth of the iconic Catalan artist. Curated by Manuel Borja-Villel, this exhibition not only displays a varied selection of works from museums and private collections around the world, but also offers a deep immersion in the artistic development of Tàpies from his earliest works to his final experiments.

The exhibition, which has travelled to several venues with great success, stands out for bringing together historical pieces scattered over time, allowing a renewed and complete view of Tàpies's legacy. From his early drawings and works linked to the Dau al Set group to his innovative explorations of matter and form in later decades, the exhibition promises an enriching visual and conceptual experience. In addition, the inclusion of less-seen works lent by international collections adds an extra layer of exclusivity and depth to this celebration of 20th-century art.
