Summer nights at Arús Library

This guided tour, available on Tuesday, is offered at two times: 18:00 (Spanish) and 19:00 (Catalan). After the visit, covering both the library’s general spaces and the detailed exhibition on the Victorian detective, attendees are invited to enjoy a soft drink.

Founded almost 130 years ago, the library was a pioneer in its purpose of being a public space accessible to everyone, building a bibliographic collection that reflects the major ideas and knowledge of its time. The Sherlock Holmes collection, curated by Joan Proubasta, is not only Spain’s most important collection devoted to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic character, but also ranks among the world’s ten most outstanding private collections in its genre.
