Night Tour «Ghosts of Barcelona»

Inspired by the book Fantasmes de Barcelona by Sylvia Lagarda-Mata, this route ventures into the neighbourhoods of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La Ribera, where history intertwines with superstition. From the solemn Arc de Triomf to the imposing Santa María del Mar, every stop — Portal Nou, Plaza de Sant Pere, Mercado de Santa Caterina, Calle Rec, Montcada, the Born — reveals secrets beating beneath the stone: real exorcisms, cursed convents, impossible apparitions.

The guide, half chronicler and half medium, reconstructs in words the echoes of a city that never quite sleeps. Each story comes to life under the trembling light of the street lamps, making attendees doubt, for a moment, what they see and hear.

It is not a simple tour, but a sensory experience: an open door to mystery, the art of being afraid and the pleasure of discovering that, in Barcelona, even ghosts have a past.
