Children’s Halloween “Calaveritas” workshop
On 1 November, Tik Tako fills with colour and sugar to celebrate one of Mexico’s most beautiful traditions: the Day of the Dead. In this children’s workshop, the youngest participants will be at the centre of an experience as creative as it is meaningful: the creation and decoration of little sugar skulls, a symbol of joy, memory and life.

Guided step by step, children will be able to shape their own little skulls and decorate them with bright colours, sequins and icing sugar, while discovering the cultural and spiritual value of this Mexican celebration. More than a workshop, it is an opportunity to learn through play, to get closer to a tradition that celebrates the memory of those we love through art and imagination.
The family-friendly, festive atmosphere of Tik Tako will be transformed into a small altar of creativity, where each little skull will tell its own story. An activity designed to share as a family, among laughter, paintbrushes and sugar, and to teach younger children that remembering can also be a way of celebrating.
