Far from top-hat tricks and wands, the ancient Egyptians believed in a profound magic: that which lay in hieroglyphs, funerary paintings and the objects that accompanied the deceased on their passage into the Afterlife. In this workshop, children and adults will be able to discover how a body was mummified, what amulets meant and how sacred messages intended for the gods and eternity were written.
