«The Reyes Magos arrive by Sea: come and see them by boat!» experience
When night falls on 5 January, Barcelona keeps a secret well known to those who look towards the harbour: the Reyes Magos arrive first by sea. This experience invites you to experience that moment from a privileged place, aboard a boat that accompanies their entry into Port Vell, following the wake of the Santa Eulàlia before the city bursts into celebration.
About this event
Far from the crowds, the journey becomes a small ritual. The aroma of hot chocolate and melindros, Christmas music and lights create a welcoming refuge on the water. Children receive their letter to write to the Reyes and can hand it directly to a royal page sailing with them, guardian of wishes and smiles, and in charge of handing out a sweet surprise.
Meanwhile, the bar offers drinks and snacks to extend the evening without rushing. From the deck, the arrival of the Reyes is watched calmly, with the city’s reflection on the sea and the feeling of being part of something almost secret. A different, intimate and memorable way to welcome the most magical night of the year.
