¡Eh! Summer workshops for creative minds at CCCB

The workshops do not seek fixed answers, but to open up questions. Who decides which bodies are shown? Which images are left out? How do filters, poses or stereotypes affect the way people look at and present themselves?

In the first week, with Paula La Fea, the starting point is one thousand kilograms of clothing used to build an immersive installation called El probador. What normally functions as a place of judgement in front of the mirror is transformed here into a space for distorting, exaggerating and playing with other ways of appearing.

The second week, with Blanca Almendariz Granero, focuses on experimental video and digital images. Cameras, editing and humour are used to dismantle the invisible rules behind the «perfect» photographs on Instagram or TikTok and create a collective audiovisual piece.

The project works as a laboratory of ideas and identities where creativity becomes a way of questioning what is normally taken for granted.
