Family workshop “Gaudinian Animals and Where to Find Them” at La Pedrera

The activity invites families —on a visit conducted entirely in Catalan— to explore the most emblematic spaces of La Pedrera by following the traces of these creatures. To avoid getting lost, they will need to sharpen their imagination and read the architecture as Gaudí conceived it: from nature, not from geometry. Every clue leads to a possible animal; every corner, to a different interpretation. A chimney or a stone guardian? A railing or a dragon’s tail? A skylight or the eye of a being watching us?

The workshop combines observation games, small challenges and moments to stop and look together at what normally goes unnoticed. The aim is not only to “find” animals, but to learn to see La Pedrera as a living organism, where stone, light and movement intertwine.

Designed for families eager to explore, this experience turns the visit into a fantastic expedition. In the end, every participant will discover that Gaudí did not simply build a house: he created a habitat full of creatures that appear only to those who know how to look for them.
