Dance performance «Waves»
«Waves» is a dance work that immerses us in a transformative journey, where body and identity are constantly reconfigured. Through movement, the performer invites us to explore the tensions and connections between his political and personal experience, blurring boundaries in order to reconstruct his sense of belonging.
About this event
In this piece, Lautaro Reyes stages two worlds that live within him: the Chile of his political awakening and the Europe of his maturity. Two geographical and emotional realities that now confront, collide and converse with one another, creating a space where the political and artistic intertwine with strength and sensitivity.
Waves unfolds a choreography laden with meaning, sustained by a constant impulse towards transformation. For 45 minutes, lighting, music and costume design converge to offer a stage experience that transcends the individual and becomes an act of collective reflection.
