«Todas aquellas cosas» is a dance work that enters the uncertain territories of memory, where memories appear fragmented and identity is constructed from what is retained, transformed or chosen to be forgotten. The work invites the spectator to travel through an emotional landscape in which past and present are constantly blurred.
About this event
Through seemingly simple questions — a melody, a hill, an interrupted conversation — the show reconstructs scattered episodes that emerge from intimacy. What remains when memory blurs? What mechanisms do we activate to protect ourselves from certain memories? The piece explores those ambiguous areas where the absence of answers also forms part of the narrative.
The company La Ventada articulates this journey through a stage language that combines movement, dramaturgy and a carefully crafted sonic and visual atmosphere. Bodies become repositories of shared experiences, evoking emotions that oscillate between nostalgia, fragility and the need to understand.
Directed by Davo Marín and written by Laia Mestre and Júlia Valls, «Todas aquellas cosas» offers a delicate reflection on memory and the bonds that define us. A stage experience that invites us to look back and ask ourselves, once again, what part of what has been lived still inhabits who we are today.
