«Rrrrrr, historia de una oruga» invites the youngest audience members —and also the adults accompanying them— to contemplate one of nature’s most astonishing processes turned into stage poetry. The show begins with a simple and fascinating question: where do butterflies come from? The answer unfolds on stage like a tale that breathes, moves and transforms.
About this event
It all begins with a tiny, almost imperceptible egg, from which a restless caterpillar is born, full of curiosity and with an insatiable appetite. As it grows, the stage fills with rhythm and discovery: dance evokes its movements, puppets shape its little universe and the music of Frédéric Chopin accompanies each gesture with a sensitivity that envelops the audience.
When the caterpillar decides to stop and build its fragile silk home, the theatre sinks into suspended time. After that apparent silence comes the moment of transformation: a crackle, a tiny fissure… and the appearance of a luminous butterfly, ready for its first flight.
Designed for children aged 2 and over, this show turns metamorphosis into a sensory and emotional experience, where images, sounds and movement narrate, without hurry, the beauty of growing and changing. An invitation to look at small things with new eyes and discover the magic that sometimes happens inside a cocoon.
