«NUAº» show
NUAº is an immersive theatre proposal that confronts audiences with one of the present's most uncomfortable realities: cyberbullying. Through an intense monologue, the piece immerses spectators in the experience of a young victim of revenge porn, trapped in a spiral of exposure, public humiliation and constant online harassment.
About this event
The work is not limited to recounting the events. It investigates the psychological impact of digital violence, the weight of the silence of those who observe without intervening, and the fragility of intimacy in an environment where everything can be shared in seconds. It also raises questions about the role of artificial intelligence and underscores the importance of consent as a red line in any digital interaction.
Written and performed by Elena Santiago, directed by Irina Robles and translated by Arnau Guillén, the proposal also features the voice-over of Xavier Pérez. The show, in Catalan, lasts 65 minutes and is recommended for ages 13 and over. NUAº offers no easy answers, but it does offer an urgent and necessary space for reflection.
