Opera «Lohengrin»

This performance immerses the audience in the moving story of Elsa of Brabant, unjustly accused of a crime, who cries out for a defender whom she has known only in her dreams. Emerging mysteriously, guided by a swan, the knight takes up Elsa’s defence on one mystical condition: she must never ask his name or origin.

In this production, Katharina Wagner combines contemporary elements with traditional Wagnerian drama, exploring themes of identity, sacrifice and justice. The music, a masterpiece of Romanticism, oscillates between the ethereal and the warlike, capturing the tension and transformation of the characters.
