Series of artistic actions “Las sillas de Tàpies: Memorias tatuadas”

From 27 March to 18 December 2025, this series offers a sensory and reflective journey around two essential axes: the body as an archive and memory as a trace. Like invisible scars, memories and experiences mark the skin and gestures, turning every body into a canvas that tells personal and collective stories.

Artists such as Fito Conesa, Esther Ferrer, Joan Morey and Mireia Calafell —among other indispensable names on the contemporary scene— will transform the Foundation’s venue into a space for live exploration, where voice, movement and stage presence take on a new expressive dimension. Each session is an act of resistance against oblivion and an invitation to rethink the present through the body and its traces.

“Las sillas de Tàpies” is not only a tribute, but a statement of intent: memory is activated, moves and transforms… and it does so on stage.
