International Festival of Performing Arts and Mental Health ‘L’Altre Festival’

The 12th edition of L’Altre Festival arrives, the only international festival that brings performing arts and mental health into dialogue, breaking down barriers and opening up new imaginaries.

For three days, more than 40 proposals in theatre, dance, music, circus and unclassifiable formats will fill every corner of the space. On stage will be professional and amateur companies, mixed collectives, artists with and without diagnoses, all sharing one thing: the wish to tell, move and share.

The programme is committed to pieces that explore other languages and ways of creating, such as Els visitants, a proposal that mixes improvisation, live music and sound elements to bring medieval characters together with present-day conflicts. The opening will be led by Macaco alongside Divina Molécula, a project that understands music as a shared space for expression and belonging.

L’Altre Festival turns the stage into more than a place of representation: it transforms it into a territory where other voices find room to be heard.
