Opera “La traviata”

The plot centres on Violetta Valéry, a Parisian courtesan immersed in a glamorous lifestyle who is forced to give up her love for Alfredo Germont because of social pressures and his father's disapproval. McVicar's production highlights Violetta's fragility and fighting spirit, with her famous aria “Siempre libera” becoming a heart-wrenching anthem of freedom and despair.
