La protagonista turns the stage into a space of constant transformation. In this first solo created for the theatre by choreographer and performer Lorena Nogal, dance and theatre intertwine to explore how identity is built, breaks down and takes shape again through the body.
About this event
Far from offering definitive answers, the piece sets out a journey in which every movement opens up new possibilities. The scenography, costumes and sound space evolve alongside the performer, creating a living ecosystem in which nothing remains the same. Transformation ceases to be a theme and becomes the very material of the work.
Directed and performed by Lorena Nogal, with dramaturgy shared with Pol Guasch, the production invites the audience to enter a poetic experience in which fragility, change and uncertainty are presented as forces of creation. The music of Rafael Heredia and the sonic universe designed by Cristóbal Saavedra accompany a stage language that eschews any fixed idea and embraces mutation as a form of knowledge.
With a running time of 50 minutes, La protagonista proposes an intimate journey in which the body reveals that which words do not always manage to express.
