In «Hora Bruixa», Macbeth's witches leave whispering behind and turn up the volume. They are no longer figures in the shadows: they appear as a punk band taking the stage to tell their version, crossing past and present without asking permission.

The show, driven by Application Rejected, turns history into contested ground. The protagonists move through episodes of female resistance — from Salem to #MeToo, from suffragettes to Catalan textile workers — as if they were stops on the same tour. There is no faithful reconstruction, but appropriation: every moment is reinterpreted through live music, irony and an energy that disarms any solemnity.
The dramaturgy by Paula Castillo and Charlie Mills proposes a narrative that moves between the mythical and the political. The witches do not explain history; they intervene in it. They invoke memories, mix references and bring together struggles which, although separated by decades, share the same tension.
With guitars, voices and direct staging, «Hora Bruixa» poses a question without fully articulating it: who tells history, and from where. The answer is not unique, but it sounds loud.
