The plot revolves around the unforgettable summer love story between Sandy and Danny, whose paths separate at the end of the holidays. However, fate has a surprise in store, as they meet again at school in completely different circumstances. Danny, the tough boy at school, contrasts dramatically with the affectionate young man Sandy knew in summer. This duality explores the cultural evolution that marked the passage from the conservative 1950s to the free and rebellious spirit of the 1960s.
The name «Grease» not only refers to the carefree style and the fashion for using hair grease typical of greasers, but also symbolises the clash and fusion of two worlds: the conservative end of the 1950s and the emerging individualism of the 1960s.
Direction by David Serrano together with musical direction by Jesús Serrano and technical direction by Guillermo Cuenca promise an impeccable production. The cast, led by Adrián Lastra and Quique Niza, alongside Mia Lardner and Isabel Pera, among others, will bring this classic to life with renewed and infectious energy.
