Dansat! Festival 2025

For one week, the SAT! Teatre and the squares of the district are filled with bodies, rhythms and emotions through a programme that seeks to bring contemporary dance closer to every audience. More than twenty local and national companies will share the stage and the street, from established names to new voices in choreographic creation.

The festival retains its open and participatory spirit with outdoor proposals such as Dansat al Carrer, two free days in Plaça de Can Fabra, where dance merges with the urban setting. In addition, the energy of Hop Sant Andreu will bring the best of urban dance and hip hop, confirming the diversity of styles that coexist under the festival umbrella.

The indoor programme features creators such as Antonio Molina «El Choro» with Prender, un acto de combustión, Jose Manuel Álvarez with Captura y fuga, and Cia. Pla Roig with Oveja Eléctrica, among other shows that engage with contemporary dance, flamenco and physical theatre.

Dansat! remains faithful to its essence: celebrating movement as living art, breaking down boundaries between artists and audiences, and filling the streets of Barcelona with pure stage energy.
