«El principi d'Arquímedes» show

It all begins with an apparently innocent event: the children's swimming group, the seahorses, is ready to swim without armbands. For some children, this is an exciting step; for others, a terrifying challenge. Jordi, their coach, tries to calm one of them with a gesture of closeness, a hug and a kiss. However, what should be an act of empathy becomes the trigger for a hurricane of doubts and suspicions.

The club director, Anna, confronts him after receiving complaints from the parents. What has really happened? To what extent do our fears condition what we see? How heavily do prejudices weigh on our way of judging?

With a tense and absorbing narrative, «El principi d'Arquimedes» confronts us with our own fears and forces us to reflect on the fine line between protection and paranoia, trust and suspicion. A play that leaves no one indifferent.
