“El meu germà” explores one of the most complex, contradictory and enduring bonds there is: siblinghood. Through a succession of brief stories filled with humour, music and emotion, the play builds a nuanced portrait of what unites and separates those who share the same family history.
About this event
On stage, Robert and Llorenç González play theatrical versions of themselves, blurring the boundaries between reality and fiction. Amid memories, songs, disputes, complicity and small everyday battles, the two brothers turn their relationship into the starting point for speaking about all the others. Because this universe has room for inseparable siblings, irreconcilable rivals, adventure companions and also those who choose each other outside the family.
With dramaturgy and direction by Marc Artigau i Queralt, the production combines theatre and live music to create a close and deeply human experience. Tenderness coexists with irony, while the stories unfold through comic moments and reflections that connect with the experience of any spectator.
“El meu germà” is a celebration of bonds built over time, of wounds that remain and of affections that survive everything. A show that finds in everyday life an inexhaustible source of emotion and complicity.
