This version, performed with the precision and expressive strength that characterise the Ukrainian company, immerses us in a universe where love and sorcery coexist in an unstable balance. Prince Siegfried, caught between duty and desire, meets Odette, a young woman condemned to live as a swan by the spell of the dark Von Rothbart. But nothing is so simple when Odile, the black swan, enters the scene: a deceptive reflection of the protagonist and an instrument of evil.
The production stands out not only for its impeccable technical execution, but also for its aesthetic sensitivity: staging that evokes dreamlike landscapes, costumes that amplify every gesture and a musical performance that turns Tchaikovsky’s work into a narrative force in its own right.
